Branchial arch

Di tastesoftheearth.contact@gmail.com / Novembre 23, 2025

A series of paired structures located on either side of the pharynx in embryonic vertebrates, which give rise to various anatomical features such as jaws, gill supports, and parts of the ear and neck in adults. These arches are composed of cartilage, muscles, and blood vessels, and play a key role in the development of the head and neck region.
