This project comes from a small territory, but looks far. We want to build a free, accurate and accessible encyclopedia of traditional cuisine from around the world. A place where every culture can be told through its flavors, its customs, its ingredients.

But no collection can be said to be complete without the people who guard this knowledge. That’s why your contribution is not only welcome, but essential.

If you know a typical recipe, an ingredient or a product used only in your land, a local culinary tradition that deserves to be told, we invite you to write to us. Even the smallest story can prove to be a unique and precious piece in this great mosaic that we are trying to build together. No one better than you can pass on what you know.

We only ask that the origin and/or the distribution of the recipe or product is clear and reliable, and that they are preparations or products that are actually typical of the indicated area, and not widespread elsewhere (except in local variations). We will take care of everything else: we will adapt the text to insert it into the site with care and gratefully citing your name or contribution, because the value of shared knowledge must be recognized and celebrated.
