About us

We are a couple brought together by a genuine passion for cooking and culture, even though neither of us has ever studied gastronomy formally. What drives us is curiosity: for the flavors, stories, and traditions that every corner of the world holds.

Some time ago, we started a little tradition of our own: each month we randomly draw a country from around the world and organize a dinner inspired by its cuisine. We do it to learn about new cultures, to test ourselves, and to travel, at least in our minds and taste buds, even when we stay at home.

That simple habit gave birth to this site: a free, accessible, and collaborative space where we can collect and share the infinite nuances of world gastronomy. Our dream is to create a truly participatory encyclopedia of traditional global cuisine, where anyone can discover, learn, and contribute.

Everyone, wherever they may be, has something valuable to share through food. And if you’d like to be part of this project, your contribution is more than welcome!
